At SUN SEA AIR yoga & wellness, we strive for the essence that each class was curated just for you! Because our class sizes are smaller, we are able to offer suggestions in the forms of cueing, modifications, and props to help the individual level each class in an appropriate way. And, if you need a little spice, or want to explore your evolutionary edge, we'll offer kramas (or stages of a pose) that make you work a little harder and take you a little deeper. This concept will help students cultivate personal and self agency, making our classes all-level experiences.
Yin and Restorative yoga, blended with intentional breathing, make up this hybrid offering that helps you release physical and mental tension. This practice activates the nervous system in a positive way for a deep somatic reset. It can help one heal the effects of chronic stress and fatigue, support recovery, and aid in navigating anxiety and change. Perfect for all-levels, ages and stages of life. There is minimal movement in this class, so you may want layers for warmth.
Experience the holistic synergy between Yoga & Ayurveda in this flow style class. Yoga & Ayurveda are two complimentary systems of wellbeing that work together to encourage physical, mental and spiritual health. While this class will appear as a vinyasa style flow class, you will experience intentional poses and practices curated to promote energy, restore balance, and invite vitality and deep connection. This class runs 75 minutes.
A Yoga4men offering. This all-level, slow-paced class focuses on the alignment of each pose, strengthening and lengthening the body, centering the mind with breathwork and meditation, while targeting some of the common areas men feel tension like the shoulders and hips. Align with other men in the community and emerge balanced, strong and renewed. This class runs 75 minutes.
Slow, mindful and soothing. This class is perfect for those wanting a softer, more relaxed practice. This class is also excellent for; beginners, healthy aging, pre and post-natal, as well as those looking to aid in recovery.
Explore the inner landscape of your being with breath, movement and mindfulness. This offering combines the activation and receptivity of Vinyasa Flow movement with deep, healing, restorative practices that help to regulate the nervous system, break up energy stagnancies, and promotes strength and stamina. All levels are welcome to attend.
Beginners, here is the place to start! And experienced students looking to get back to basics, you will also enjoy this exploration of the fundamentals of yoga, pranayama (breathing exercises), and meditation. Increase strength & flexibility, reduce stress and anxiety, develop better balance and coordination skills, as you naturally promote your overall health and well-being. Brand new beginners, we recommend that you are comfortable with seated & standing poses, as well as transitioning between the two. This class runs 75 minutes.
