OUR classes

At SUN SEA AIR yoga & wellness, we strive for the essence that each class was curated just for you! Because our class sizes are smaller, we are able to offer suggestions in the forms of cueing, modifications, and props to help the individual level each class in an appropriate way. And, if you need a little spice, or want to explore your evolutionary edge, we'll offer kramas (or stages of a pose) that make you work a little harder and take you a little deeper. This concept will help students cultivate personal and self agency, making our classes all-level experiences.

Yin and Restorative yoga, blended with intentional breathing, make up this hybrid offering that helps you release physical and mental tension. This practice activates the nervous system in a positive way for a deep somatic reset. It can help one heal the effects of chronic stress and fatigue, support recovery, and aid in navigating anxiety and change. Perfect for all-levels, ages and stages of life. There is minimal movement in this class, so you may want layers for warmth.

Experience the holistic synergy between Yoga & Ayurveda in this flow style class. Yoga & Ayurveda are two complimentary systems of  wellbeing that work together to encourage physical, mental and spiritual health. While this class will appear as a vinyasa style flow class, you will experience intentional poses and practices curated to promote energy, restore balance, and invite vitality and deep connection. This class runs 75 minutes.

Aligned Men's Flow

Explore the inner landscape of your being with breath, movement and mindfulness with a midday flow. This offering combines the activation and receptivity of Vinyasa Flow movement with deep, healing, restorative practices that help to regulate the nervous system, break up energy stagnancies, and promotes strength and stamina. All levels are welcome to attend.

Aligned Men's Flow

A Yoga4men offering. This all-level, slow-paced class focuses on the alignment of each pose, strengthening and lengthening the body, centering the mind with breathwork and meditation, while targeting some of the common areas men feel tension like the shoulders and hips. Align with other men in the community and emerge balanced, strong and renewed. This class runs 75 minutes.

Yin Yoga with Reiki

 Yin Yoga is an invitation to go inward, to tune into the tight areas of your body, and to allow them to release. To facilitate this release, poses are held for 3-6 minutes each, with the utilization of props to ensure a level of comfort. Some poses will feel relaxing and restorative, while others may challenge your ability to stay focused and present. Please note that this class is not meant to be as relaxing as the Deep Reset or Yoga Nidra. During these longer held poses, the instructor will be offering Reiki to those who wish to receive. It is always your choice. If you prefer to be in the pose without healing energy you are more than welcome to inform the teacher before settling onto your mat.

 This class is for those wanting a gentle yet active yoga class, placing equal attention on strength and flexibility. We begin with Pranayama (breath work), warm up the body, then move into sun salutations with a focus on alignment. Poses will be held for several rounds of breath to really allow us to find our best alignment in each posture. Sometimes we will move through a short series of postures using our breath to guide us. We always finish with a full 10 minute Savasana.

Slow, mindful, soothing and therapeutic. This class is perfect for those wanting a softer, more relaxed practice. This class is also excellent for; beginners, healthy aging, pre and post-natal, as well as those looking to aid in recovery.

Sara's guided sound healing sessions are designed to reduce stress, calm the nervous system, and restore inner balance. Using the sacred tones of crystal singing bowls, Sara creates a soothing soundscape that gently carries participants into a meditative, restorative state. This offering is perfect for all-levels, ages, and stages of life.

Awaken the healing intelligence already within you with this sanctuary for your nervous system. Through gentle movement, breath, and mindful awareness, you will release stress, regulate your body, and reconnect with your natural state of ease. Rooted in the ancient art of Qigong and informed by modern trauma science, this practice supports you to; calm the mind and shift into parasympathetic “rest and digest” mode, melt away tension stored in muscles and fascia, circulate and replenish your life force energy (Qi), cultivate resilience, clarity, and inner vitality. No experience is needed. Classes are science-backed, trauma-sensitive, and deeply supportive for all bodies.

As a student, you will be guided through kinesthetic movement inquiries which teach you how to release the body's inefficient, painful patterns and to access unknown potentials. Self-Awakening Yoga®, or SAY, is unlike any other form of yoga you may practice. It's an inquiry into self, into your body, by connecting your breath with movement to create unique shapes. You are encouraged to practice in a way that feels good in your body. The student next to you may move in very different ways, and that's exactly the point, this is about you. You are learning new ways of movement that support alignment and release inefficient holding patterns and tight areas in the body. In this class, you will be seated, kneeling, laying on your back or on your stomach. Props and modifications will be used to support your practice. Wear comfortable clothing. SAY encourages freedom of space so we will be spreading out on yoga blankets. It's that motivation to release inefficient holding patterns, get stronger, and feel better in your body that will keep you coming. back for more.
